Yoga

Aurelia Wellbeing

As a passionate and certified Yoga Teacher, I understand that the best way to achieve our life’s goals is to take a proactive and integrative approach to being healthy and happy. Scroll below to start learning how.

My yoga journey

I aim at creating a life balance, prioritising your well-being and celebrating all aspects of your true self.

My yoga journey started in 2009. With a background in dance, it was natural to learn yoga and delve deeper into the natural flow of the body. It connected me to the healing force of nature and helped me to move again with grace and strength.

I started to practice yoga in 2009, tried several styles (Kundalini, Hatha, Vinyasa, Anusara, Iyengar, Nada, Yin, Prana Flow) and have fallen in love with yoga. I always had the feeling that my practice was not complete, that something was missing. Until one year after my first teacher training, i discovered Prana Vinyasa yoga through my beloved inspirational teacher and friend Delamay Devi. It was a revelation for me! A pure joy and liberation to discover this magical flow! I really fell in love with this new approach of yoga. My body was completely in love by the fluidity of the movements, the freedom, the lightness in the breath, the creativity of the sequences, the music, the sensuality and femininity of the movements, the connection with the sun and the moon. My body was flowing with freedom. It was a real embodiment practice, rhythmic, a vinysasa flow that includes mudra, chanting, bandha, pranayama, meditation, asanas, kriyas. That brings me lots of vitality, peace and body opening. As a dancer, I felt like dancing again on my mat.

Yoga helps me build and reclaim the confidence, courage and strength needed to make necessary and positive changes in my life. I am passionate about helping others realise and experience all the aspects of yoga to help and bring positive and powerful changes. My intention is to create a safe space for personal empowerment that allows people to embody the true essence of their authentic self.

Yoga brings people together. It is about connection and community and I will be so grateful to be sharing this journey with all yoga lovers.

I admire the dedication and transformation that yoga brings into my daily life. Each round of a sun salutation may be very similar but each time we fold forward the mind has a different story to tell. The body releases a little deeper and the breath reveals so much more about our true nature.

What is Prana Vinyasa Flow

Created by Shiva Rea, Prana Vinyasa yoga is an energetic, creative, liberating, evolutionary, rhythmic, vinyasa flow class that encompasses mudra, chanting, bandha, pranayama, meditation, asana, and kriya.

The aim is a direct experience of prana, or life-energy.

What I love about Prana Flow is that it encompasses many of the other yoga styles (Krishnamacharya, Tantra, Ayurveda, Bhakti, Somatics ) and one of it’s core teaching is that it’s about connecting with your internal teacher. That prana or life force that lives inside of you, and it’s about allowing it to guide you. It gives you the freedom within the class to go with what your body is telling you.

Through dynamic and conscious sequencing, students of all levels are encouraged to experience the progression of asanas from simple to complex as well as utilize the movements of breath (Prana) as a source of energetic alignment and support.

It’s set to music, and it is almost guaranteed to raise your vibration, open your heart and set your mind free.

Lunar Flow

A complement to the Solar Flow Yoga (sun) practice, Lunar Flow Yoga (moon) is a sequential flowing practice that honours our receptive nature. Lunar refers to the calming, slower-paced, internal poses that are appropriate for any time of day, especially when you are seeking a soothing, rejuvenative practice. It brings about inner reflection and restores equanimity and peace to the bodymind. An excellent practice for those seeking a gentle flow to their yoga practice.

Suitable for all levels.

Solar Flow

A dynamic, revitalising and strengthening practice with the invigorating energy of the sun. Likened to a dynamic dance, postures or asanas are connected through the breath for a transformative and balancing effect. This class activates "tapas" ~ transformational heat in the body, burning away that which obscures being.
Suitable for all levels.

Pranayama & Meditation

Pranayama is the art of prolongation and control of breath. It helps in bringing conscious awareness to breathing and the reshaping of breathing habits and patterns .

Pranayama is control of Breath". "Prana" is Breath or vital energy in the body. On subtle levels prana represents the pranic energy responsible for life or life force, and "ayama" means control. So Pranayama is "Control of Breath".

Meditation is a yogic process of providing deep rest to the system by allowing the mind to calm down to its basal states. It has been proven to reduce stress, improve focus, and contribute to a range of mental and physical health benefits.

Pranayama & Meditation focuses on breathing techniques to help relax your mind & body. A great way to increase energy & relieve stress & tension.

Suitable for all levels.

Yin Yoga

A quiet yet profound style of yoga based on the expression of theories derived from Chinese Medicine and Taoism. Yin Yoga uses long-held relaxed floor postures to stretch and stimulate the deep connective "Yin" tissues of the body. Accessible to practitioners of any tradition and any experience level, this practice strengthens chi flow and maintains the health of the meridian system of the body, and is the ideal complement to dynamic, muscular or "Yang" forms of yoga.

Suitable for all levels
